Paloma, Kottbusser Tor, Xberg

Everyone has heard something about Monarch, but not about Paloma.

Due to its secret location its hard to find this little spot located directly in Kottbusser Tor. You´ll access the place through some stairs in Skalitzer Str. next to the turkish restaurant.

If its still early, you´ll have the chance to enjoy a drink next to the window looking to Kotti, and later on, to dance to the electro beats until dawn.

Farbfernseher + Sameheads

After the great active day, I decided to go out and ended up dancing nonstop. We met at 23.00 in Kotti and went to have a drink to Farbfernseher, next to Kottbusser Tor. Alexandros, which is new in the city came with us for his first night out.

Then, it was time for Sameheads. Great discovery. Little club at a basement of a creative boutique...

SAMEHEADS- Emerging talent scout boutique of creative stylings for Berlin's hipster avant guardians. Three British expat brothers opened shop to give fledgling artisans retail hospitality. Bright-eyed newcomers to Berlin's fashion, art and music orgy revel in emblematic "poor but sexy" glam-grunge emporium. In classical Berlin disdain for categorization, sibling purveyors moonlight as off-sight event planners in alternative locales, with loyal ranks among city's 24 hour party people.- SAMEHEADS
Richardstrasse 10- / U Karl-Marx-Str.

After listening to live music and dancing like crazy, it was time to go home. Although some people still wanted to go to Berghain! :p And this is the end of the story. Happy night. Happy faces.

Casiotone for the Painfully Alone @ Maria Antoinette

On Tuesday night Casiotone for the Painfully Alone were playing @ Maria Antoinette next to the metro Jannowitzbrücke. It was the last show in Berlin, so it was the last chance to saw them life (well him).

The venue, located in a kind of garage under the S-Bahn, had simple but modern décor. Actually just a painting of Marie Antoinette showed us where we were. The place was almost empty by the time we arrived there, so we sat in a white sofa and waited until the show begun. The place was packed by 10pm.

Musashi, Sushi in Kreuzberg

As a total Sushi amateur I could dare to say that Musashi is one of the best sushi places in town. Little imbiss in Kotbusser Damm, really little and usually packed. It may not seem the best option from outside to enjoy a nice meal. Once you're in, you'll think in a complete different way.  That's the real Japan.
Musashi only plays music from a cassette player, but its sushi chefs hail from the native country and clearly have full command over their cuisine. Have a look at the decoration:  pictures for beginners with the different types of sushi an sumo posters everywhere. I can´t really say it´s cheap (Its not overpriced either)  but the quality is simply, unbeatable.
